A Study on Commercial Music

Commercial Music is used to improve the effects of advertisements. It belongs to commercials as a subordinate role, but it has the influential power which any music has in itself. So, this study was carried out under the recognition that the research and review on Commercial Music was required. And it is going to show the proper direction which Commercial Music should take by studying the musical, social, educational aspects of Commercial Music and reviewing the problems in it.

The results indicate that there are many problems in Commercial Music, because it plays just to stress the commercial role as being deficient. For example, the Tonality and Form of Commercial Music is destroyed, and it only tries to give people the strong impression emotionally. This study also indicates how much the Commercial Music influences on teenagers' lives and emotions and that teenagers have favorable feeling for Commercial Music.

Commercial Music has socially influenced a lot like as promoting the purchasings and influencing the levels of common culture. But it is short of perfectiveness as a whole music, because it is only used for commercial effects. So, while we think of the influences of music on man's emotion and behavior, we cannot help worrying about the bad effects Commercial Music has. Therefore, the Commercial Music has to be made and used as a complete music, having the musical perfectiveness as well as the commercial effectiveness.
