A study of the Hotel Lobby Design

With the rise of the standard of living, the Variation of traffic means and the increase of the national income, the function of the Hotel which has been charged only for sleepers is changed now. The Hotel lobby gives user the first impression which will be remembered for a long time. Therefore, the Hotel lobby must be designed rationally and functionally. In this view, this report studies the renovation of the Hotel lobby which has Complex facilities in both city and resort.

The result of this study is as followed ;
1. Through other reports, it can be founded the concept of the Hotel is changed, and the Hotel lobby is very important facilities.
2. It is confirmed the need of the Hotel lobby and the lounge where the a visitor can relax, meet peoples, and read something. And the ratio of these space is increasing gradually is proven.
3. In the research of the space of Hotel lobby, the insufficiency of lounge and Service area cannot give user comfortable. It is the problem to be solved.
4. On the basis of these problem and related literature and theory, the drawing of the renovation planning for Hotel lobby is presented to solve these problem rationally and objectively.

② On the basis of other theory and the problem which founded on investigation of the present status, Another renovation planning of Hotel lobby which contains circulation plan, floor plan and elevation, perspective drawing In accordance with plan is presented.

In Conclusion, the Hotel Continuously renovates equipments. Facilities and properties, which are appropriate to the change of function, fashion and an out-worn equipment. So the Hotel is to be a place which is comfortable to users
